World-wide Structural Biology Research

The 9th International Conference on Structural Biology has gathered leaders in the field of structural biology, biophysics and bioinformatics for a comprehensive overview of this rapidly expanding area of research and development. The Conference will be held in Zurich, Switzerland from September 18-20, 2017 at Hilton Zurich Airport Hotel.

This conference is a meeting of scientists and technologists from all over the globe working in fields leading towards the three-dimensional macromolecular structure and drug discovery.

The conference will cover topics relevant to the pursuit of structural biology and biophysics highlighting areas such as are 3D structure determination, computational approaches in structural biology, hybrid approaches for structure prediction, structural biology and single molecules, structural bioinformatics and proteomics, structural molecular biology, structural virology, sequencing, signalling biology, molecular modelling and dynamics, drug designing, frontiers in structural biology, structural biology in cancer research, structural biology complexity arenas and recent advances in structural biology.

Keynote Speakers this year will be Tilman Schirmer, University of Basel, Switzerland; Henry M. Sobell, University of Rochester, USA; Shigeyuki Yokoyama, RIKEN Structural Biology Laboratory, Japan; Robert Stroud, UCSF, USA; Timothy A. Cross, Florida State University, USA; Wladek Minor, University of Virginia, USA and Yuri L. Lyubchenko, University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA.

Other eminent speakers from industries include Nebojsa Janjic, SomaLogic, Inc., U.S.A.; Michael Hennig, leadXpro AG, Switzerland; Dirksen E. Bussiere, Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, USA; Marta Westwood, UCB Pharma Ltd, UK; Tobias Pflüger, NanoTemper Technologies GmbH, Germany and many more…

Best Poster and YRF Award:
The conference also emphasizes the researches of young and budding scientists. An exclusive session will be allotted to them where they can present their posters and talks under Young Research Forum (YRF). The best research will be awarded with the Best Poster and Best YRF award.
